Biography

Jemma Danielle Bolt was born in the UK in the 1980's, living her early years in Poole, Dorset. Daughter of British parents Derek, an architect, and Hayley, a nursery manager, Jemma started performing on stage from the age of three when she joined a local dance academy. At the age of 16, she studied for a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts at The Jellicoe Theatre and later went on to study at The Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Arts. This is where her love for theatre flourished after being cast to play characters as diverse as Abigail Williams, in the stage version of 'The Crucible' and Mr. Toad in 'The Wind in the Willows'. Not quite ready to settle permanently in London, Jemma travelled around Europe and trained as a ski guide. On her return to the UK, Jemma got back into acting after signing with her agent and landing small roles in 'How To Lose Friends and Alienate People' (2008) and 'Last Chance Harvey' (2008). Jemma landed her first leading role in Rupert Bryan's horror
