Mark "Jeff" Reed

Mark "Jeff" Reed, was born Mark Jefferson Reed, in Utah in the mid 1960s. Jeff is a descendant of early Mormon Pioneers who helped settle the Western United States. His father is a gold prospector (geologist) and his mother is a water color artist. Both Jeff's parents were products of the "flower power" movement of the 1960-1970's. In his youth, his family would travel in a VW Bus and would sometimes camp for months at a time, while Jeff would help his Father prospect for gold. Eventually his Father's gold prospecting work would lead the family to live Costa Rica, where his Sister was born, then to Haiti, Denver Colorado, and finally settling in Tucson Arizona in 1978. Jeff's interest in acting, music and songwriting started at a young age. In elementary school, Jeff attended acting workshops at the University of Utah, and starred in a series of regional television commercials for Grand Central Stores, and auditioning for a few movie rolls which were filming locally.
