Born Washington, D.C. Attended St. Albans School. BA Wesleyan University, American University in Cairl. MFA New York University Tisch Graduate Acting Program. Austin Appeared in 12 Years A Slave and was the acting coach for Dwight Henry in the Oscar-winning film Beasts of the Southern Wild. Records music under the moniker Curt Cook and represents one half of the music duo Beau Jest.
