Biography

Brady Hood is a Writer - Director who is passionate about creating commercially accessible stories with a social commentary. He has been featured as a 'Screen International Star of Tomorrow' and since then has gone from strength to strength with his work. Most recently Brady directed two episodes of "Top Boy" for Netflix, created by Ronan Bennett and produced by Cowboy Films. The show stars Ashley Walters and Kane Robinson with a host of new UK talent including Michael Ward, Hope Ikpoku and Jasmine Jobson. Alongside these the series also stars are Mercury Prize 2019 nominees Simbi "Little Simz" Ajikawo and David "Dave" Omoregie, two of the UK's brightest rising rappers. Brady directed episodes 6 & 7. Prior to "Top Boy," after working as an assistant to film directors such as Joe Wright, Lone Scherfig, and Otto Bathurst, Brady was accepted onto the prestigious MA Directing Fiction course at The National Film & Television School.
