Biography

Alexandra DiNovi, the daughter of Domenica Piragine, a former drama teacher, and Vincent Louis DiTommaso, a high profile class action lawyer, was born and raised in Hinsdale, Illinois. DiNovi is of Italian descent. Alexandra began violin and ballet at age three. She was discovered in a restaurant while she was in high school. Alexandra then landed the featured dancer role in the motion picture, The Break-Up (2006) starring Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston. As busy as Alexandra was, between acting, singing, and dancing, she still made the Deans list and the National Honors Society. Alexandra DiNovi's move from Chicago to Los Angeles became a major step for her career. Alexandra studied Theatre, Communications and Screenwriting at Loyola Marymount University. She loves Loyola Marymount because it was always her dream to attend school there, and it took her years to slowly convince her dad.
