Biography

Andréa Zamora was born on October 8th in San Francisco, California. She is the only child of (late) mother Marla Zamora and father Howard Specter. Her mother is of Costa Rican and Mexican decent from Oakland, CA and her father is of Ukrainian and Israeli descent from Chicago, IL. Andréa's mother was the first Latinx Woman Public Defender in San Francisco and the first Latinx Woman to run for Judge. Her mother minored in drama and instilled it in her at a young age. Andréa spent her years acting, dancing, and singing. She was in dance training beginning at the age of two. She began training in theatre and musical theatre at age six. At age thirteen Andréa was accepted into San Francisco School of The Arts High School, a pre professional program. She joined the theatre department where she honed her craft as an actress. At age fifteen she was accepted into her first professional dance company under Choreographer Allan Frias of FOX network "So You Think You Can Dance?". She danced for ar
