Biography

Patrick O'Shea is a multi-award winning Irish writer, director who has worked on productions in New York, Ireland, Denmark, the UK and Luxembourg. Patrick wrote and directed 'Scéalta Grá na hÉireann' (Ireland's Greatest Loves) (2021), a six-part documentary series for TG4 and 'The Cork Nativity' (2020), a Christmas Special for RTÉ 1 (Ireland's National Broadcaster). 'The Cork Nativity' won a Wilbur Award in 2021. Patrick's feature documentary. 'Why is there anything instead of nothing' featured in Variety magazine and in The Times and premiered on Sky Arts in February 2018. He has a number of award winning short films on Amazon Prime Video that are represented by Hewes Pictures in New York city.
