Matthieu Pigasse

Matthieu Pigasse is a Partner in Centerview's Paris office With over twenty years of experience in investment banking, Matthieu Pigasse has developed a solid financial expertise and worked on many of the most significant M&A transactions and sovereign advisory assignments in the last few years. Until late 2019, he was Global head of M&A and Sovereign advisory at Lazard and Chairman and CEO of Lazard France. He joined Centerview in April 2020 to open and lead its Paris office and the development of Centerview's client base in Continental Europe. Matthieu Pigasse has an intimate knowledge of the public sector as well as European regulations. After he graduated from Sciences Po and the École Nationale d'Administration (ENA), he started his career in the public service and served in the French Treasury where he was in charge of the cash and debt management for the French State.
