Biography

A versatile actor of the stage and screen Kelley J Jackson is known for delivering layered and riveting performances in dramatic and comedic roles. Jackson spends most of her time in Los Angeles where she is a member of Naked Angels Tuesday's at 9 group and is also a company member of The Actors Center in New York. She has performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade in NYC and LA. Jackson also writes and has made a short film "Becoming Mim", a dark comedy that through magical realism explores the cyclical patterns and cultural programming related to domestic abuse which she wrote, acted, co-directed, produced, and did set decoration. Jackson plays guitar, sings, and writes songs primarily in the folk and blues styles. Originally from Comfort, Texas, Jackson is a graduate of The University of Texas in Austin, as well as the 2 Year Meisner Conservatory at Maggie Flanigan Studio in New York where she studied with Maggie Flanigan.
