Biography

Jack Pleiades Chevanty (Born Nathan Rockford Fisher) was born in Galion, Ohio. He began working in independent film in 1998 (age 14) with the completion of two VHS short titles, 'Farm Kap' and 'Cannibals from Nowhere, Nohio'. He eventually attended Richland Academy of the Arts in Mansfield, Ohio focusing in Media Production. After completion of the program, Chevanty continued producing shorts in analog format until 2001 when he attended the Pioneer Joint Vocational School again focusing on Media Production and completing the 2 year program within one year. As digital film began to flourish in the independent world, Chevanty adapted to the new technology and produced several more films in many genres alongside long time fellow filmmaker Nicholis Heinrich Pirnstill. In 2007, Chevanty moved to Los Angeles to further pursue film making.
