Aislinn Derbez

Born and raised in Mexico City, Aislinn Derbez is a Mexican actress whose parents are artist Gabriela Michel and Eugenio Derbez, who is considered to be one of the greatest and most popular Mexican actors and comedians alive. She is the granddaughter of the Mexican star Silvia Derbez. Aislinn is of Mexican descent from her maternal grandmother and paternal grandfather, and French from her paternal grandmother and maternal grandfather. Aislinn lived in New York City for four years (2006-2009) while she studied visual arts, theatre, photography, and writing and earned her Bachelor of Visual Arts at NYC's School of Visual Arts. At age 15 she started modeling, and in 2009 she started her acting career in the Mexican film industry, participating in several films and TV series in Mexico, South America, and Europe.
