Biography

Michelle Blundell is a stage, film and television actress from Auckland, New Zealand. Since graduating from Unitec's School of Performing and Screen Arts, Michelle has been involved in numerous stage and screen productions. Michelle is well known to New Zealand audiences after being cast as Louise Nicholas in Consent - The Louise Nicholas Story, directed by Rob Sarkies, which won Best Television Feature at the New Zealand Film Awards. Her television credits include Shortland Street, Go Girls, The Almighty Johnsons, Piece of My Heart and Irirangi Bay. She also appeared in New Zealand films I'm Not Harry Jensen, Apron Strings and the short film Pelorus, directed by Alex Sutherland. Her theatre performances include Silo Theatre's The Book of Everything, Holding the Man, The Real Thing, Tanya Goldberg's The Blind Date Project, The Moving Theatre Company's The Pitchfork Disney, Auckland Theatre Company's The Crucible, and Eigengrau from Potent Pause Productions.
