Biography

Frank (formerly known as Frank Knuckles), is a 17 year musician/producer, most known for being a drummer/percussionist with the legendary Hip Hop band, The Roots. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Frank and his parents moved to Philadelphia, to pursue the American Dream. While growing up, Frank spent a lot of time in Church, and this is where he gained his passion for music. This is actually what led to his big break. At the age of 19, while playing drums in the church band, Frank was discovered and was asked to go on the "Voodoo" tour with D'Angelo. Because of his talent and work ethic on the tour, Frank was then asked to become a member of the Legendary Roots Crew, where he eventually spent 17 years. During his time with the band, he had the opportunity to play along the side of many great musicians including Jay-Z, Beyonce, and Bruce Springstein, just to name a few. In addition to playing with many legendary artist, he also became a regular on the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and the Tonig
