Isabel Wagner

Isabel Wagner is more than meets the eye. An American actress of Romanian descent, Wagner's family was in the opposition and part of the dissident movement during the Communist past. Finding her passion and receiving her first taste of fame as a successful model while in high school doing runway shows, editorials, television shows, magazine covers and promoting for several companies and designers brought her to her real passion in acting. After receiving a Bachelor's of Arts from the University of Bucharest and completing her studies abroad at the University of Salamanca, Spain with an Erasmus scholarship, she received a PhD in political science from the University of California, Riverside. Wagner recently authored a book based on her dissertation "No Rule of Law, No Democracy," which was published by SUNY Press.
