Jerome Velinsky

Jerome Velinsky is an award-winning actor, writer and creator from Melbourne, Australia. He is professionally trained, having studied in the work of Strasberg, Laban, Stella Adler and Uta Hagen in both Australia and Canada. Jerome was cast in his first feature film role alongside movie greats Guy Pearce, Miranda Otto and Sam Neill in the controversial true story In Her Skin. Jerome has appeared in many Australian and US productions including Love Child, Doctor Doctor, City Homicide, Rogue, Backstrom and Here Come The Habibs. In 2017, Jerome co-created, produced, co-directed and starred in the award-winning comedy series 'Method' which received funding support from Screen Australia. The series won the 'Best of Spotlight' award at the 2017 Melbourne WebFest and Jerome was nominated for his first Australian Directors Guild Award for 'Best Direction of an Online Comedy'.
