Montse Hernandez

Montse Hernandez is a Mexican-American actress, singer, writer and director. Born in Dallas, Texas, Montse started her career in national commercials and modeling at the age of 3. At age 8, she landed the role of 'Natalia' on "Barney," prompting her family to move to Los Angeles shortly after. Montse has built a resume of extensive credits including the titular role of Teen Jane in the CW's "Jane the Virgin" and has had several recurring arcs on shows including, NBC's "The Night Shift," USA's "Colony" and the independent film "Lowriders" opposite Eva Longoria, Demian Bichir, Gabriel Chavarria and Melissa Benoist. Montse stars as the lead in "Student Body" which follows high school student Jane (played by Hernandez) who, after experiencing an inappropriate situation with her math teacher, takes matters into her own hands when the school administration refuses to take action.
