Christopher-Lee dos Santos

Christopher-lee dos Santos was born in Johannesburg, South Africa on April 2, 1986. He would remain in his home country, studying filmmaking at the South African School of Motion Picture Medium and Live Performance, until 2008; that year, his graduation student short film At Thy Call (2008) played at numerous film festivals, including the 2008 Cannes Film Festival and Winelands Film Festival. The film also went on to win numerous awards including best film, best cinematography and visual effects. Dos Santos got his first short feature film (56 minutes) debut at the age of 22 when his independent film Brothers in Arms: 1978, was aired on the national broadcasting network M-Net in South Africa in 2006. Dos Santos wrote, co produced and directed the film. He was still in film school at the time of it's completion.
