Mario Abney is a Chicago born Jazz Trumpeter and Bandleader of The Abney Effect. Mario Abney and The Abney Effect were recently featured on Good Morning America for Abney's hit song "Rollin". In 2019 Abney graced the GMA for the first time to perform fan favorite "Instant Grits" on Mardi Gras. Mario Abney' dedication to the trumpet fused with Abney's high energy performances have placed Mario Abney in a category of his own.
