Craig Calman

Actor, writer and director born in California. Studied at Pacific University, Forest Grove, Oregon; traveled throughout Mexico and studied at the Universidad De Queretaro; made a 45 minute documentary about Mexico at the age of 20. Accepted to the UCLA Motion Picture/Television Department, graduated 1975. An actor in classical and repertory theatre from California to New York to Boston,1975-82. Winner of Old Globe Theatre Atlas Award 1977-78 for portrayal as Private Meek in G.B. Shaw's "Too True To Be Good." Other roles: The Vagabond in "The Tavern," Rosencrantz in "Hamlet" and "Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead" (Boston Shakespeare Company), leading roles in "The Firebugs," "Madame De" "The Good Doctor" "Charley's Aunt."
