Waleed Akhtar

Waleed is a British actor, best known for his role as Essad in Golden Globe nominated 'Slamon Fishing in the Yemen' directed by Lasse Halstrom. His first role was in the International Emmy winning BBC adaptation of Jacqueline Wilson's much loved children's book 'Dustbin baby'. For his stage work he was labeled a rising star by the Eastern Eye Newspaper.
