The 'Cutting Crew' are an English rock band who are most famous for the hit single '(I Just) Died in Your Arms' (1986), which shot to number one in America, Canada, Norway, and Finland. The single also reached number four on the UK charts, Switzerland and South Africa, and number two in Ireland and Sweden (worldwide, it reached number one in no less than 19 countries). 'Cutting Crew' were signed to Virgin Records by Richard Branson in 1986. The band members include - or have included - lead vocalist Nick Van Eede, Tom Arnold, Martin 'Frosty' Beedle, Colin Farley, Dominic Finley, Sam Flynn, Kevin MacMichael, 'Tony Moore (II)', and Gareth Moulton. Other notable singles have included 'I've Been in Love Before' (1987) and 'The Scattering' (1989).
