Biography

Geoffrey Plitt is a director and stand-up comic from Los Angeles. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, he has trained and performed in Chicago with the acclaimed Second City, ImprovOlympic, and ComedySportz theaters. After returning to L.A., he co-founded the comedy group Sad Ninja whose viral videos have attracted roughly a million views, including the web pilot "Two Girls One Cop" (produced by Comedy Central), the music video "Why Weed Is Better Than Sex" (L.A. Comedy Festival), and the short film "Rock Obama: The Barack Obama Musical" (L.A. Comedy Shorts). Venturing into screen-writing, Geoff's debut feature-length film "Paranormal Whacktivity" will shoot this December. Geoff also enjoys performing stand-up comedy as a regular at the Comedy Store, Hollywood Improv, and Jon Lovitz clubs in LA.
