Lydia Waters

Lydia Ellen Waters was born in York. Her first major role was that of Holly Cunningham in the UK soap opera Hollyoaks. Lydia was one of 54 candidates up for the role of Holly and she had to attend several auditions at the shows studios in Liverpool. She secured the role and began filming in April 2008, making her first appearance on 9 June 2008. Lydia left Hollyoaks in September 2010. Other acting roles have included Hollyoaks Later and South Pacific. Lydia was nominated for best young actor at the Inside Soap Awards in 2009 and 2010 for her role as Holly in Hollyoaks. As well as acting, Lydia is a keen dancer particularly enjoying ballet, tap and modern dancing.
