Biography

Michel Issa Rubio is an actor and dancer who was born in Guadalajara, Mexico to artist mother Luz Elena Rubio. He is best known for playing "Santiago" in TNT's hit tv show Snowpiercer alongside Oscar winning actress Jennifer Connelly, and for working alongside another Oscar winner- actress Catherine Zeta-Jones in Lifetime's movie Cocaine Godmother as "Gerry Gomez" Michel got his start as a kid in Guadalajara with modelling and commercial acting for an array of products and brands. At age 10, he and his family moved to Vancouver, Canada where he launched a successful professional dancing career that expanded over 15 years and took him all over North America working on projects such as Cirque Du Soleil's "Love", the Vancouver 2010 Olympics, and dancing opportunities on television including Disney's Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, Degrassi, Once Upon a Time, DC's Legends of Tomorrow & Motherland: Fort Salem and many more.
