Biography

Lauren is an actress, singer and dancer. At the age of 9, she was chosen by Martin Charnin from over 3000 girls in a nation wide search to star in his musical, 'Annie' in London's West End. She followed this with a role in BAFTA award winning screen writer Jimmy McGovern's film, 'Heart', and now a love of screen acting was added to her repertoire. Immediately following 'Heart', she auditioned for and won the part of the artful dodger in the musical 'Oliver!'. Due to her success she was asked back 2 years later to play the part of Bet. As a young teen Lauren wanted to take her music further so formed a teen band, with her brother, Steven. They went on to win a place on the live final on national television in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, and a record deal followed. Lauren later became a solo artist, when Steven left the band to concentrate on his football. Lauren penned the song Stand Tall to help in the fight against bullying.
