Award-winning American Actor Johnny Serret was born (Jean-Pierre Serret) on July 23rd 1986 in the city of Malden, Massachusetts, United States. He is of Spanish decent from Amposta, Catalonia, Spain. In 1970 his family lived in East Boston, Boston, Massachusetts. They moved to Malden and lived there for several years, spent some time in Orlando, Florida. In 1984, they moved back to New England where they eventually settled in the quiet Essex County town of Boxford, Massachusetts. The first time he saw Gary Oldman's brilliant performance in the Francis Ford Coppola masterpiece Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992), He knew he wanted to become an actor. He was studying Criminal Justice while attending AIC and Lasell College in Newton, MA. By November of 2007 he dropped out of school and moved to New York City in January of 2008 to pursue his passion for acting.
