Biography

Lucas Belkind grew up in the desert oasis of Phoenix, Arizona with the childhood dream of becoming either Steven Spielberg or Indiana Jones. He decided to combine the two and to move to Los Angeles in 2004. Four years later, he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with a BA in Visual Anthropology (Documentary Filmmaking), an emphasis in Film Production, and a minor in theatre. During this time, he also entertained millions as he traveled across the United States (and the world) as a drum line member of the USC "Spirit of Troy" Marching Band, starred in the "Most Creative Film" at the 2004 Ed Wood Film Festival, co-hosted an AM radio show, was a USC liaison for Special Events for Disney, won nearly $10,000 in prizes on "The Price is Right," and produced a nearly $100,000 35mm independent short film.
