Raymond Ablack launched his career as Young Simba in The Lion King on Toronto’s Princess of Wales stage at age 11. He then built his profile with a recurring role as Sav Bhandari on Degrassi: The Next Generation (2007–2011), appearing in 118 episodes. Afterward, he expanded into TV and film, with recurring roles in Orphan Black, Shadowhunters, and Narcos, alongside starring in the award-winning web series Teenagers (2014–17), winning a 2016 Indie Series Award. Ablack further diversified with stand-up comedy, Netflix roles (Maid, Ginny & Georgia), and producing short projects.
