Biography

Mike was born and raised in Philadelphia, and later moved to New York where he studied theatre and Classical languages at Fordham University. He then attended The Neighborhood Playhouse in Manhattan and is proud to be a Lifetime Member of The Actor's Studio. Mike's working class roots in Philadelphia are his guiding influence in creating Scrappletown Films. The intention behind Scrappletown is to open up avenues for talented artists who want to create their own opportunities. The mission statement of Scrappletown is essentially, if you have ideas that need to be heard, Don't Wait. Create. Taking that sentiment to heart, almost 10 years ago Mike created and starred in The Super Man, which was inspired by his real life experiences as a building manager in Los Angeles. The Super Man went on to win The Audience Award at The ITV Festival in Los Angeles. It's The Super Man that led to a meeting with Rob Mcelhenney, creator of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and landed him a series regular
