Jeannie Lee

Inspired by summers spent in the fashion district of Seoul, Korea and her subsequent study of fashion design and art history at the University of Florence, Italy, Jeannie Lee set out to open what she imagined might be a small specialty shop featuring her own personal take on style. Armed with a passion for the humanities, a hunger for travel and a love of discovering new talent, Ms. Lee embarked on a quest to discover the cutting edge of art and artisans in the International World of Fashion. Sensing a void in the representation of independent designers, Ms. Lee was determined to curate a collection, which would give such innovators a forum. The result was "Satine" which exploded onto LA's boutique scene in 2003, offering up not only her favorite finds from newly discovered designers, but one-of-a-kind pieces she fell in love with along the way, as well as hand picked gems she couldn't resist by top designer from Paris, Tokyo, New York, and Los Angeles Collections.
