Biography

Patrick O'Driscoll holds a Master's degree in history and is an Iraq War veteran. He is a specialist in historical costume, military uniforms and historical research. Originally from the Washington D.C. area, he got his bachelor's degree in history from the University of Maryland and his Master's degree from American Military University on the GI Bill. In addition to his history degrees he has taken classes at LA Trade Tech on tailoring and pattern drafting. Patrick has worked in the military departments of both Eastern and Western costume companies and has been a member of Motion Picture Costumers Local 705 since 1998. In 2015 Patrick joined the Costume Designer's Guild Local 892 in order to work as the costume designer on the feature film USS Indianapolis Men of Courage starring Nicolas Cage. Patrick served in the United States Marine Corps from 1982-85 and the Army National Guard from 2003-2008. During his later service, in 2003, he was activated in support of Operation Noble Eag
