Ruth Pickett

Ruth Pickett is an Emmy award nominated Writer & Director. Her online series, 'Printfriends', was nominated for an International Emmy Award for 'Best Digital Fiction'. She has been selected as part of the Old Vic Theatre's prestigious T.S. Eliot exchange, as a finalist in Film London's Microwave scheme, and her short films have won awards at numerous international film festivals. She was educated at a state school in Yorkshire before attending Cambridge University, where she was an active member of the Cambridge Footlights.
