Biography

Casey McKinnon was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. She studied Shakespeare at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, holds a BA degree from McGill University, and resides in Los Angeles. She launched her theatre career playing a gender-bent Guildenstern in 'Hamlet Max' at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, and later that year played Lady Stutfield in Oscar Wilde's 'A Woman of No Importance' at Sacred Fools Theatre. In 2015, she played Grete in the revival of Donald Margulies's 'Sight Unseen' at The Lounge Theatre in Hollywood's historic Theatre Row, gaining critical praise. She made her big screen debut in independent western film Six Reasons Why (2008) working opposite Colm Feore (The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014), Thor (2011), The Chronicles of Riddick (2004)), and has lent her elven features to roles in ElfQuest: A Fan Imagining (2011) and Elf Sabers (2011).
