Jessie Buckley

Jessie Buckley is an Irish actress and singer whose artistic formation combined formal music training and dramatic education. She studied piano, clarinet, and harp up to grade eight at the Royal Irish Academy of Music and participated in summer workshops with the Association of Irish Musical Societies (AIMS), where she honed singing and acting skillsl. Buckley later attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). Her career path began with a public audition on a television talent-search show in 2008; she placed second but leveraged the exposure to launch a professional career in theatre, appearing in musical and dramatic stage productions in London’s theatre scene. After her formal training, Buckley transitioned to screen acting, taking roles in television and film, while also applying her musical background when required.
