Biography

Is a graduate of The Stella Adler Studio's 3 year Theater Conservatory in New York. Inspired by her father Marcel Sisniega, independent film director, writer and international chess grand master, Sofia has acted in over 17 full length films, 16 theater plays and 10 television series. Sofia has both American and Mexican citizenships. Since she was raised between Mexico and the US English and Spanish are both her native languages. She's from Spanish, French, Italian, Irish, Russian, Icelandic, Mexican, Arab and American-Indian descent. Film: She starred in her first movie at age 15 "Mujeres en el Acto", followed by "Arresto Domiciliario", both directed by Gabriel Retes. After graduating, she continued her work in Mexico with "Bacalar" directed by Patricia Arriaga and produced by Walt Disney Studios.
