Maia Lorian

Native New Yorker Maia Lorian is a true character actress with a background in comedy and improv. Career highlights include: Flight of the Conchords (HBO), The Onion News Network (IFC), All My Children (ABC), a plethora of CollegeHumor videos that have gone viral, In theater- Carmina Burana (Lincoln Center), Murder In the Cathedral (Hoi Polloi/Off Broadway), A Pale Horse Death and Hell (Ontological-Hysteric Theater), Flying Snakes in 3D (Ars Nova). Maia studied with David Mamet's Atlantic Theatre Co., Anne Bogart's SITI Co., The Experimental Theatre Wing at Tisch/NYU. She's workshopped many new productions and recently worked with performance artist Marina Abramovic on her piece Generator. Maia also does stand-up, sings, composes music/lyrics, and is always learning new skills, like Russian and ukulele.
