Karen Worden

Karen Worden is co-founder and editor-in-chief of FilmCourage.com, which features articles, podcast episodes and video interviews from filmmakers, actors and other artists worldwide. FilmCourage.com originated in April 2009 as a weekly Sunday podcast via LATalkRadio.com where Karen and husband David Branin (co-host/co-founder/videographer of FilmCourage.com) interviewed indie filmmakers and actors for 50-minutes on thriving and surviving the business. MovieMaker Magazine selected the Film Courage podcast as one of the '10 Best Podcasts for Movie Makers in 2011.' Born on the East Coast, Karen grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area (Palo Alto), raised by a single mother, leaving home at 17 to work full-time corporate job in Silicon Valley. Karen held numerous corporate and odd jobs throughout the years, switching between the safety of a regular 9-5 life, freelance/acting to running FilmCourage.com with Branin.
