Biography

Lil Chuuuch, an underground rapper from Chicago, is the son of a popular radio disc jockey on Chicago's number one urban station, WGCI 107.5. Chu attended St. Ignatius high school on West Roosevelt Rd. and played varsity basketball for the Wolfpack. His love and talent for the game ended him up at The University of Miami with the Hurricanes, however after just one year he decided to focus on entertainment instead. While on a trip to New York City in the summer of 2007 visiting friends of the family, Lil Chuuuch found himself in the borough of Brooklyn at the exact same time as the academy award winning director, Ridley Scott was filming the 1970's based major motion picture, "American Gangster." Wearing his hair braided in cornrows at the time, Lil Chuuuch decided to take them out and approach Mr. Scott with his own 70's style afro and ambition.
