Biography

Christina Mitropoulou is a screenwriter, playwright, and actress. She holds a BA from Yale University and a Masters in Creative Writing from University of Oxford. She is one of the creators and show runners of the TV show "I Mahi Ton Fylon". She is also a writer on "Prigipas tis Fotias" (crime drama), and has penned numerous episodes for "Min Arxizeis ti Mourmoura" (sitcom) and for "Kati Psinete". Two of her short films "Angelos Nomas" and "Newstria" received national grants from the Greek Film Center and multiple festival official selections. As an actress she has held series regular parts on the series "Klemmeni Zoi" and "Koukles". She has guest starred in numerous television shows and appeared in over 15 films including international productions such as "The Red Room" and "My Life in Ruins". Onstage Christina Mitropoulou held the leading role in the original cast of the play "Babushka" by Michael Spengos and has performed in over 10 productions in some of Greece's most prestigious
