Biography

Mr. Timmins collaborated with Lipeng Zhang on the script of 2011's "The Resistance", a war drama about an American journalist sent to China to uncover the aftermath of 1937s Nanking Massacre and discovers atrocities continue. The film debuted May 17, 2012 at the Cannes Film Festival and was released on DVD in February 2013. In 2015 he ghost wrote the first 10 minutes of a small budget horror film called "SpiderGirl" for MagicElevator Productions. He also adapted a short story for writer/producer Mark Rupprecht called "Living for Sundays" who is presently trying to secure financing to hopefully begin filming in 2017. Mr. Timmins also wrote a treatment for author Eric Wiberg's upcoming WWII novel, "Drifting to the Duchess" in hopes the rights to the book are purchased for a film adaptation.
