Biography

Born in London while his parents were living overseas, Alexander Emmert moved to the United States as a young man. A short music career preceded his academic exploits at the University of Oregon and Harvard, after which he began a lucrative tenure as an Executive Recruiter in New York until one of his early loves in life, performing, drew him away from the corporate world. Mr. Emmert has performed on stage and in numerous independent and studio films, as well as in television series and specials. He is a Big Four repped screenwriter and independent film producer. Emmert also served as Program Director for Encore Entertainment's Creative Theatre Group Summer Camps for Film and Theatre in 2003, prior to incorporating Invictus Films in 2004. He has directed several music videos (most recently for The Replacements/Soul Asylum/Guns N Roses bassist Tommy Stinson), and written and produced numerous historical documentaries for cable television.
