Biography

JULIO RAMOS (1965 Caguas, PR) Graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, School of Theater and Education in 1991. That same year he participated in the V Workshop of the School of Theater of Latin America and the Caribbean in the city of Essen, Germany. As part of his acting training, he took workshops with Yuyachkani theater group from Peru and with the renowned Brazilian playwright Augusto Boal. For 10 years he worked with the Puerto Rican teacher and director Gilda Navarra, where he stars in works such as Acto sin Palabras, Eleuterio y el Coquí and El Múcaro y la Minina. In 1995 he became a member of the Agua, Sol y Sereno theater group. For more than 30 years he has worked in various areas of theatrical work as an actor, mime, stilt driver, juggler, set designer, stage manager and teacher.
