Biography

Laura Patalano began her career in her native Mexico, after graduating from El Instituto de Arte Escénico, where she was trained professionally. Her recurring television credits include This Fool in which she plays the role of Esperanza Lopez, Gentefied in which she plays the role of Beatriz Morales, The L Word: Generation Q in which she plays the role of Nana, and Victor and Valentino in which she plays the voice of Grandma Chata. Laura Patalano was also cast in Vida, Bosch, The Politician, Undone, Mayans Mc and Shameless among many others. Laura Patalano was also part of the award-winning independent feature film Chop-Shop, which was the Official Selection of Director's Fortnight at 2007 Cannes Film Festival directed by Ramin Bahrani.
