AIXA KENDRICK (SAG-AFTRA, AEA) is a Stage and Screen Actress, Lincoln Center Director's Lab Alumni, New Works/Jerome Foundation Recipient for avant garde Playwright and Primordial Art Ninja Starchild. She recently won an award for Best Lead Actress at the Hip Hop Film Festival 2020 in her role as Natasha in Laura Fielder's psychological thriller The Company You Keep. Notable theater roles-as Oya in David D. Wright's award winning dance drama Oya: Warrior Wind Goddess; Deborah Hampton in Jacqueline Wade's Black Panther Women; Mona Machine in Melanie Maria Goodreaux's Afrofuturist dystopian hit Enough V05 For The Universe and as the formidable machete wielding Dahomey General Oni Balewa in Layon Gray's Black Sparta. Aixa is currently in production in Rhughid Lee's epic green screen Sci-fi action web series FIGHTERZ as Mwangamizi The Destroyer.
