Biography

Yoni Tabac grew up in Rechasim, Israel to blue-collar hard working Romanian holocaust survivors. His dad is an electrician and his mom is a hair stylist. He has one older brother who is married and resides in Israel and is a successful computer technician. One night while up alone and at ten years old, Yoni saw the Israeli equivalent to "Saturday Night Live" and knew immediately this would be the career he would pursue. He wanted to put a smile on people's face. Unfortunately, he was too young to work unless he wanted to jump into the tragic "child star" role. Like many blue-collar kids, education was seen as the way to upward mobility, so he did very well at school. This is also where he began to hone his act using wise-cracks to get thrown out of class and win over some new friends. He was the class clown. Yoni moved to Los Angeles when he was 22 years old, after he finished his military duty, with $421 in his pocket, no car and nobody he knew. He had a variety of jobs and got into
