Kit Redding

Kit Redding was born in Malmesbury, England. At the age of seven, Redding moved to Connecticut after his mother remarried with an IBM executive. While attending Saint Gabriels' Middle School, Kit made a short film about teen suicide, which he turned into a comedy by playing R Kelly's "I Believe I can Fly" over the soundtrack. Redding later moved to New York City to study filmmaking at Fordham University and NYU. After graduating, he studied acting with Wyn Handman, director of the American Place Theatre. At age 23, Kit traveled through India, where he learned to meditate. This experience prompted Kit on a journey of self-discovery and gave him tools which he uses as an actor and filmmaker. Redding has since acted in, written and/or directed numerous films, officially selected at film festivals around the world. One of his screenplays, "The Rabbit's Neck," was a Quarter-Finalist in Francis Ford Copolla's Screenwriting Contest.
