Biography

The oldest of three siblings, Jason Robinson graced the United States at an early age where he began his career as a theater actor at the age of 8. At the age of 11 his parents decided to move back to his birthplace of Jamaica which was a rough adjustment during difficult adolescent years. From the American way of life to rediscovering his roots, he was type-cast as the typical "Yankee," in several Jamaican plays. To overcome the pigeon hole stereotype, he learned the dialect of patois and left the Yankee role far behind billing lead roles as though he had never left Jamaica. An unfortunate incident put things into perspective as his brother was stabbed in a altercation that left him knocking on death's door. Thankfully with following a full recovery, Jason realized that life was too short and he returned to the stage in the US. Within two months of leaving home he landed the Jamaican play "Smile Orange," as Cyril in Los Angeles which was a sign he was in the right place. Print bookin
