Peter Becker

Peter Becker is an actor, known for Babylon Berlin (2017), Bad Banks (2018), 13 Minutes (2015), Unknown (I) (2011). Although he spent most of his childhood growing up in England, Peter Becker first emerges on the stage at age 15 in Germany at the renowned Bad Hersfeld theatre festival. At the same time he begins building a background in journalism, rising to editor of the 'Hersfelder Zeitung' newspaper's weekly youth page and managing content for a radio station. After completing his formal education, he moves to Berlin, where he becomes a reputable production assistant and casting director for commercials and music videos. In 2002 he begins studying at the prestigious Academy of Dramatic Arts 'Ernst Busch' in Berlin. During this time the film and theatre industry begins to recognize his talents and he is recruited for his first film roles (including 'Der Untergang der Pamir', directed by Kaspar Heidelbach), and theatre engagements (at Deutsches Theater Berlin and Thalia Theater Hamb
