Biography

Fred Parker Jr. is known for his role as country music singer, Faron Young in the Hank Williams Biopic, I Saw The Light, starring Tom Hiddleston. He has also played on the stage as a cub reporter in Gore Vidal's Broadway revival of the political play, The Best Man, (Tony Nominated) acting opposite James Earl Jones and Angela Lansbury. Fred grew up in San Antonio, Texas where he began acting early in the Northside Independent School District. He studied acting at the University of Texas at Austin. He has trained and studied with the Upright Citizens Brigade, Warner Loughlin Studios and he is currently training with Cameron Watson. In between projects he continues to study french and volunteers through various organizations some of which include the Hollywood Food Coalition, SAG foundation's Bookpals, and Koreh LA, as reading mentor to support children's literacy. Fred has been a big brother and mentor through United Way's Communities in Schools, and a swim coach through Kinetic Kids.
