Karen Bethzabe

Karen has been widely recognized for her role in the AMC hit television show Fear the Walking Dead (2015) (2016-2017) as ax-wielding Elena Reyes, a problem solver who had to make a terrible decision in the gripping cold open. In the episode Do Not Disturb (2016), Bethzabe took the media by storm and gained international recognition due to her powerful work and controversial character. Bethzabe had her acting debut in Garcia Lorca's play 'The House of Bernanda the Alba' at the East LA Repertory Theater in Los Angeles, where she received rave reviews in Backstage (2007). Audiences also recognize her in the role of Paulette Vazquez in the popular CBS show, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000), directed by Martha Coolidge, and as Eufemia Garcia in the hit ABC Family/Freeform series, Switched at Birth (2011).
